The Five Whys

The five whys.

This projects aims to educate and inform young adults about what sugars are hiding inside products in food store through visualisations in order to facilitate healthier food choices.

Why?
Because the majority of people are oblivious to what is actually being put into products that we are consuming.

Why?
Marketers and companies are so sneaky. They want to save money so it is cheaper to produce products. These people do not have our best interests at heart.

Why?
Profit is profit. What could be harmful by adding a little bit more sugar? Right?

Why?
Money makes the world go round.

This projects aims to educate and inform young adults about what sugars are hiding inside products in food store through visualisations in order to facilitate healthier food choices.

Why?
Nutritional information is difficult and confusing for people to understand.

Why?
Companies use big complicated words to try hid what ingredients are in their products.

Why?
Because consumers would be shocked if they knew what they were actually putting into their bodies.

This projects aims to educate and inform young adults about what sugars are hiding inside products in food store through visualisations in order to facilitate healthier food choices.

Why?

I am interested to see how sugar, products and nutritional information can be visualised.

Why?

To see if I can help young adult to understand that they need to care and look after their bodies, you only have one. Being aware is the start.

Why?

There are detrimental effects if we keep ignoring what the marketers are trying to hide from us. If we are aware then we can start make alternative choice that are better for our health.

Why?

Because we are well above the recommended daily sugar intake. If they are aware, they might change their food habit, thought or ideas about food. This may have a flow on effect through the community, hopefully.

Why?

Because visualising what is in the products can help us to understand clearly what is hiding.
